What a terrific gift from home that would be. I know when I was in college I drank 2 to 3 pots of coffee a day to stay awake. My son could probably benefit from that too. It's always a good idea to mark your belongings and personalized packets will ensure that his stash will be safe from other borders.
ReplyDeleteMy son just called home and asked me to look into TAGJOE. Seems that another of the students has a supply and shared it with the rest of the dorm. They all liked the blend and my son wants his own personalized supply. I suspect he just wants to use it as a calling card for his girlfriends, but hey, I would have done the same thing given half a chance.
ReplyDeleteI just got a 'care' package from home and had to laugh when I saw the personalized coffee packets. Mom insisted on marking every little thing that I brought with me. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised to see my name printed on each little packet. It brought a smile to my face and I just had to call her and thank her for thinking of me.
ReplyDeleteIt's difficult to keep track of your belongings when you share a room with one to three, or more, other people. My Dad started buying me personalized packets of TAGJOE my first year at college and I kept it up until I was finished. It's hard to use something that has someone else's name on it without getting caught. Occasionally, I shared, but not often!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was assigned a dorm room and got all of my stuff moved in, my new roommate offered me a cup of coffee. I never drank it much at home but I found I really enjoyed this coffee. He told me it was a gift from his sister, a sort of going away present. He gave me the brand and I bought some for myself. I've since met his sister and we've been dating. Maybe it's not all connected, but I choose to believe it is.
ReplyDeleteI love coffee, but only if it's fresh. In my book it doesn't come any fresher than TAGJOE. I refuse to share my coffee because I know once they have 1 cup I'll be fighting them off for the rest of the year. There's a coffee pot in the dining room, but I wouldn't touch the stuff. I make my own in the dorm and carry it down with me.
ReplyDeleteMy Mom got me hooked on TAGJOE because it's all she serves at her restaurant. I've converted most of the girls in my dorm too. Some of them have told me that they send some home and their families are using it too. You have a winner!
ReplyDeleteNothing is safe in a dorm unless it has your name on it. Food supplies are no different. My Mom, wise woman that she is made sure my coffee would be safe. Each packet has my name printed right on it. I don't share either, because I know if they get a taste of really good coffee it won't be safe, even with my name on it.
